Description
Original pre-Vietnam War era MAAG patch (Military Assistance Advisory Group), personally worn by then Col. William P. Yarborough (later LTG), “Father of the Green Berets.” Measures about 4″ diameter. Yarborough was involved with MAAG in the late 1950s. Unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic, without reservation or time limit. Provenance: Consigned by a long-time personal friend of General Yarborough, one who delivered a eulogy at the general’s 2005 funeral. This item can be shipped in-house.
