Marked with a standing bear hallmark on the ricasso, associated with Solingen makers such as Weyersberg & Stamm. Blade measures approx. 28″, overall length 34″, with a narrow 3/4″ wide blade. This example follows the U.S. Model 1850 Foot Officer’sSword pattern, likely intended for postwar ceremonial or fraternal use. Gilt brass guard with eagle and shield motif, wire-wrapped leather grip, and knucklebow decorated with arms and flags.
