Blade measures approx. 18-3/4″, overall length 24″. Ricasso marked “ELSENER SCHWYZ.” Features a full-length sawback spine, wood slab grips with two rivets, and hooked quillon guard. Includes steel scabbard. Issued for the Schmidt-Rubin M1911 riflthis Swiss Model 1914 bayonet was produced through World War One and is known for its heavy-duty sawback, originally intended for engineer and pioneer troops. Maker Elsener Schwyz later became Victorinox, famed for the Swiss Army Knife.
