Blade measures approx. 15-1/2″, overall length 20″. This Japanese Type 30 bayonet was issued for use with Arisaka rifles and carbines, including the Type 38 and Type 99. The example shown has a blued, fullered blade with hooked quillon guard and contoured wooden grips. Marked with the Kokura Arsenal symbol (stacked cannonballs in a diamond) and inspector mark on the ricasso. Includes original metal scabbard. This bayonet design was standard throughout WWII and is one of the most widely produced Japanese bayonets.
