WWII-era U.S. M1A1 Carbine chambered in .30 caliber, manufactured by Inland Division of General Motors. Receiver marked “INLAND DIV. U.S. CARBINE CAL. .30 M1,” serial number 4940766. Barrel marked “INLAND MFG DIV GENERAL MOTORS 1-44,” confirmingnuary 1944 production. Fitted with Type 3 barrel band marked “MMQ” and bayonet lug marked “EM-Q.” Features an adjustable rear sight and lever-style safety, both post-war upgrades. Folding wire stock is a post-war replacement. Wood pistol grip andorend are marked “S A,” indicating Springfield Armory inspection. Barrel approx. 18″, overall length approx. 36″ extended. A true WWII-production carbine with typical armory-upgraded components. One magazine included. Note: Includes high-capacityagazine. Not legal in all areas.
