Description
WWII German M40 Stahlhelm manufactured by Quist, size 64, with lot number 4933 stamped inside the back skirt. The left side bears the Luftwaffe decal featuring a gold eagle clutching a swastika, partially intact. The left interior skirt is stamped”Q64,” indicating Quist manufacture. Dome stamp present in the crown. Approx. 11-1/4″ front to back, 9″ side to side x 6″ tall.TAGS: WW2, M40 helmet, German Luftwaffe, Third Reich, combat helmet, steel helmet. Wear to exterior, partial decal reming, liner intact, strap aged but stable. Liner is original and intact with all leather tongues showing age wear and minor cracking.
