Description
Antique J. Stevens & Co. single shot tip-up pistol, consistent with Stevens Lord Model No. 36 pattern. 10″ octagon-to-round barrel. Barrel marked “J. STEVENS & CO. CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. PAT. SEPT. 6, 1864.” Barrel stamped 6741 on the left side flat. Brass frame with spur trigger and exposed hammer. Two-piece checkered wooden grips with flared butt. Includes wood display box with glass top. This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.
Condition
Action works and bore is clean. Finish surfaces show wear with areas of patina and discoloration. Barrel retains visible markings. Brass frame shows age toning. No chips in checkered wood grips.
