Description
Native American Indian Pima Akimel O’odham Tribe Basket. Measures 9″ in diameter on top, 4-3/4″ diameter on the bottom and is approx 4-1/2″ tall. This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.
Condition
The foundation appears solid. Rim is tight and intact, but shows signs of a possible repair. Some possible broken stitches. No appearance of exposed foundation rods or “mouse bites”. Weave appears tight with little to no loose coils or broken wefts. Patina appears mostly even, some fading of colors. Some possible oxidation to age. Overall condition of basket is consistent with age and use.
