Description
Remington Model 12 pump-action rifle, serial #390733, manufactured circa 1917. Chambered in .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. Features a 23-3/4″ octagon barrel marked with Pedersen patent dates, tubular magazine, and grooved walnut slide handle. Overall length approximately 40-3/4″. May need replacement forearm screws, escutcheons, and old-style cartridge retainer. TAGS: early 20th century firearm, Remington pump rifle, rimfire collectible, antique .22 rifle, Pedersen design. Condition
Cartridge retainer is not installed, but is included. Receiver has a non-factory drilled hole on top, likely for scope or peep sight mounting. Bore is clean with a frosted appearance and visible rifling. Metal surfaces show a uniform brown patina scattered light pitting. Stock and forearm show handling marks and small chips, no cracks. Replacement forearm screws, escutcheon and cartridge retainer may be needed. Bore is clean with visible rifling. See images.
