Description
Crescent Fire Arms Co. side-by-side .410 double barrel shotgun, serial #9257 (1920-1932). Known as a “Quail Mode”” and sometimes referred to as a No. 66. It is chambered in .410-Gauge and features 26″ barrels, a case-hardened 3-piece lock, a pistol grip stock with grip cap, and a hand-checkered walnut stock and forend. TAGS: vintage shotgun, side by side, American double, antique firearm, sporting gun, Crescent Norwich. Approx. 42-1/2″ overall and 14-1/4″ length of pull. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition
Receiver shows gray patina with handling wear and scattered light pitting. Barrels retain traces of blue turning plum-brown. Checkered stock and forearm show age appropriate wear with no cracks. Carved initials C.V.B. on left side of stock. Lockup has a slight bit of play.
