Classic French Model 1895 (Mle 1895) firefighter’s helmet, constructed entirely of brass with a raised comb and front and rear visors. The front bears a large badge reading “Sapeurs Pompiers de Pont-Anthon”, featuring a flaming grenade, oak and laurel branches, shield, and mural crown-iconography traditionally associated with municipal fire brigades across France. Approx. 11″ x 7-1/2″. TAGS: French fire helmet, M1895 brass helmet, interwar municipal gear, WWI WW2 firefighter relic, vintage emergency services. This item can be shipped in-house.
