Tin type depicting a man in a Civil War, Union, first sergeant uniform. Hand tinted cheeks, jacket is partially open showing off a watch chain, soldier is wearing a kepi and has insignia visible on both sleeves. Housed in a Littlefield, Parsons & Co. union thermoplastic case with bright purple velvet pad, and an outstanding Federal motif mat incorporating eagles, flags, drums, swords, and cannon.
