By “The Mad Hatted Bear” artist Karen A. Meer, signed and dated 1998 on both the large and small bear. Both are mohair. Bear is wearing a wool campaign hat decorated with a vintage crossed flag patriotic pin, spectacles, a Roosevelt campaign button, and larger Roosevelt button made by the artist incorporating a Roosevelt button with bullion thread, silk flag ribbon, and a custom made smaller bear.
