Watercolor and gouache painting on paper of a Mediterranean landscape attributed to John Singer Sargent (American, 1856-1925). Signed lower right. Measures 7″ x 5″, framed in modern frame to 16-3/8″ x 13-3/4″. Small ink notation on verso, LR, coube “Eu29” or “Ea29.” Archivally taped (1/8″) to mat. See images. No damage, stains or other issues. Four pinhole covered by inside frame border — top center, top right and bottom corners — about 1/16″ to 1/8″ from edge. Couple of toning spots on verso.
