Description
Large Austrian Amphora vase in molded and enameled earthenware, featuring a long-haired dog in high relief along the base and body. Finished in a mottled green, ochre, and burgundy glaze with stylized organic accents in relief. Marked “AMPHORA AUSTRIA” with impressed model number “A115 52″ on the underside. Produced circa 1900-1905. Measures approximately 10-1/2″ tall x 11” wide. TAGS: Art pottery ceramic sculpture, European pottery, antique animal decor, Jugendstil design, Continental artware.
