Description
Late 19th century French Tete Jumeau porcelain bisque head doll. Head stamped “Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G. 11” with three artist marks. Fixed blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, chin dimple, and pierced ears. Composition and wood fully jointed body with stamp on low back reading “Jumeau Medaille D’or Paris” in blue ink. Shoes are original Jumeau with the Paris Depose bee stamp on the soles. Approx. 24″L. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.
Condition
Good condition with no cracks, chips, or losses to head. Composition pate, presumed to be original, present. Body with typical wear for age including discoloration or wear to the finish, some cosmetic losses to finish with overpainting. See images for details.
