Description
French bisque Bebe by Jumeau. Early 20th century antique porcelain doll with composition and wood body. Socket head marked in red “Tete Jumeau” round impressed mark reading “SFBJ 230 Paris”. Fixed blue paperweight glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, pierced ears, and chin dimple. Original paper label on the lower back of the composition and wood fully jointed body, including arms, elbows, wrists, legs, and knees. Silk and lace dress appears to be period, shoes marked with the “Paris Depose” bee mark on the soles. Approx. 19″L. This item can be shipped in-house.
Condition
Good condition with no breaks or cracks to the head, no cork pate. Typical wear to the body including some loss to the original finish. See images for details.
