Description
German Mauser Karabiner 98 rifle, manufactured at the Erfurt arsenal in 1916. Standard bolt-action configuration with tangent rear sight and straight bolt handle. Chambered in 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser), serial number 8689. Matching numbers are presenton multiple components, including the barrel bands, floor plate, trigger guard screw, bolt release, front sight and buttplate. Overall length approx. 43-1/2″, barrel approx. 24″. Features include full-length walnut stock, bayonet lug, and sling mounts. TAGS: K98, K98k, WW1. Clean and shiny bore.
