Description
Blade measures approx. 17″, overall length 21-3/4″. Ricasso marked “1917” over “Remington” on one side; reverse side features the U.S. Army Ordnance flaming bomb emblem above “U.S.” and the number “13”. Designed for use with the U.S. M1917rifle and compatible trench shotguns. It remained in service through World War II, the Korean War, and even saw limited use during the Vietnam War. TAGS: M1917 bayonet, Remington, WWI WWII U.S. military, trench shotgun bayonet, U.S. Enfield accessory. Oxidation and patina consistent with field use.
