Impressionist town scene oil on board painting by William Nelson (American, b. 1942). Depicts Le Relais Cezanne, a cafe in Le Tholonet, a village near Aix en Provence in France. Signed and dated 82 LL. Unframed. Measures 18" x 24". Provenance & note: From a Florida Modern art collection amassed beginning in the 1950s in Michigan. All proceeds from the sale of this item will go to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wis. Many of the important art pieces in the sale are from this same lifetime collection.
