Impressionist oil on board painting by William Nelson (American, b. 1942). Titled on verso label, "Mr. Ploton is his Garden.". Signed and dated 80 LL. Unframed. Measures 16" x 17-3/4" in 23-1/2" x 25-1/2" frame. Provenance & note: From a Florida Modern art collection amassed beginning in the 1950s in Michigan. All proceeds from the sale of this item will go to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wis. Many of the important art pieces in the sale are from this same lifetime collection.
