1820 publication. The first six pages printed with the expected information for each of the 12 months, including the year’s moon phases, planet movements, sun rise and setting times. The next three pages are dedicated to describing the efforts of various missionaries to “civilize” Native American Indians, with the same year marking the beginning of the Removal Era. The remaining pages are dedicated to describing business of the Baptist church and inspirational writing. 20 printed pages total, sewn into a brown paper cover, the front titled in pencil “1820 Poor Wills Almanack Philadelphia pub by Kimber & Sharpless 93 Market St”.
