Anschutz Model 520/61 semi-automatic .22 LR rifle, serial number 012874, (1969) manufactured by J.G. Anschutz GmbH, Waffenfabrik, Ulm/Donau, West Germany. Barrel measures approx. 23-3/4″. Hardwood stock with checkered pistol grip and forearm. Fitted with a vintage Springfield 3-7X scope and one detachable magazine. Accompanied by a Berlin Brigade Headquarters/Berlin Rod & Gun Club “Sale of Firearms” document dated November 7, 1969, recording the purchase of an Anschutz .22 LR rifle, serial number 012874, by a U.S. serviceman stationed with the 1946th Communications Squadron.
