Description
Antique French weight-driven Comtoise wall clock with white enamel dial marked “Qualite Supre / NERET / a Chateaubriant,” Roman numerals, two winding apertures and pierced hands. Embossed brass surround and long pendulum decorated with grapes, grape leaves, flowers and agricultural motifs. Two-train brass and steel movement with bell strike and two cast-iron weights. Clock case measures approximately 16-1/4″ x 12″ x 7-1/4″; pendulum measures approximately 42″ x 12-3/4″. Late 19th century. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.
Condition
