American half-stock percussion rifle with 35″ octagonal to round barrel and brass-mounted walnut stock. Features brass trigger guard, brass buttplate, brass fore-end cap and brass side plate. Iron lock and hammer with percussion ignition. The rifle measures approximately 51-1/2″ overall with a 35″ barrel. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition
Metal surfaces exhibit moderate to heavy oxidation and patina. Stock shows scattered dents, scratches and handling wear, with visible cracking and repairs at the lock mortise and forearm. Brass furniture displays age-related patina. See images.
