Description
Mozelle Thompson (American, 1926-1969) original pencil sketch entitled, “Soft Shoe Dancer”, signed. Mozelle was the only prolific African American artist to illustrate record album covers during the mid-20th century, illustrating some 120 album covers for various artists and musical genres. Drawing measures approx 22-3/4″ x 30″, frame 24″ x 31″. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.
Condition
Bottom of drawing appears to have been cut completely across, some light foxing, stains. See images.
