Signed Yabu Meizan (Japanese, 1853-1934) miniature Japanese Satsuma vase. 23 figures arranged in a continuous scene of men and women engaged in various leisure activities including having tea, playing instruments, and listening to poetry. Quatrefoil neck decorated with a band of millefleur style design, the body accented with a fine gilt gold net of dots. Marked on the underside. Antique cabinet vase approx. 1-5/8″H.
