Description
Colt Thuer Derringer. Barrel measures approx. 2-1/2 in and is marked “-COLT-“. Frame is marked “.41 CAL”. Serial #47736 is stamped on the frame under grip. Pistol features the side-swing barrel design. Manufactured by Colt from about 1875 through 1912, with total production estimated between 45,000 and 48,000 units. This pistol was produced late in the run, likely in the early 20th century. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition
Patina and finish wear on barrel and frame. Swing action works, cocks and fires. Some pitting inside bore, with rifling visible. Left grip has a chip.
