Underwood Elliott Fisher Co. M1 Carbine, .30 Carbine, serial number 2885140 (1944 production range). Fitted with an 18″ barrel marked “1-44” with “U” and Ordnance flaming bomb. Semi-automatic with detachable magazine. Equipped with adjustable rear sight and Type III barrel band marked “JI.” Stock shows Rock Island Arsenal rebuild cartouche “RIA/EB” and sling well marked “IO.” Additional markings include circled “P,” boxed “P,” and Ordnance crossed cannons. Painted rack or inventory markings “A-79” at the butt and “37” on the pistol grip base. No visible import marks. Includes US military canvas bag & one magazine. This item can be shipped in-house.
