Description
Vintage Northwest Coast Kwakiutl Crooked Beak Hamatsa mask, British Columbia. Attributed by previous owner to Joe Seaweed (son of artist Chief Wille Seaweed), but that attribution seems unlikely. Hand painted red cedar, cedar bark and leather. Measures 33″ x 20″ x 9-1/2″. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.
Condition
Some light scratches. Jaw mechanism needs reattachment.
