Chinese Tang Sancai Boy on Bird (possibly rooster or phoenix) Green Glazed Ewer Pottery. Measures 10″ tall x 7-1/4″ long x 3-1/2″ wide. Provenance: From the estate of Jean Wilson, who — along with her friend Elizabeth Otey Watson — donated a large number of Asian ceramics and bronzes to build the collection of Washington & Lee University’s Watson Pavilion.
