Old lifesize carved and painted wooden head, folk art, measures with base 12-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ x 7″. Possibly an Asian architectural ornament. Provenance: From the estate of Jean Wilson, who — along with her friend Elizabeth Otey Watson — donated a large number of Asian ceramics and bronzes to build the collection of Washington & Lee University’s Watson Pavilion.
