Spanish colonial silver cob coin recovered from the Nuestra Senora de Atocha shipwreck. Denomination: 8 reales. Mint: Potosi. Reign of Philip III. Weight 16.5 grams. Grade THREE (3). Reverse is double-struck. Coin is accompanied by original Mel Fisher’s Treasures, LLC Certificate of Authenticity no. 86A-135974, with matching obverse and reverse photographs. Additional Mel Fisher printed materials are included, consisting of “Coins of the Lost Galleons” booklet by Capt. Kathryn Budde-Jones, coin design explanation card and silver preservation care card.
