English wall-mounted banjo barometer and thermometer by Selsi, mid-20th century. Mahogany case with intricate marquetry and string inlay, featuring decorative medallions, scroll crest, and turned finial. Silvered dial marked “Selsi Compensated England” with atmospheric readings for Stormy, Rain, Changeable, Fair, and Very Dry. Dual-scale thermometer calibrated in Fahrenheit and Centigrade. Measures approx. 33″ long x 9-1/2″ wide. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.
