Antique Sterling Silver and Ivory Letter Opener or Paper Knife. Late 19th to early 20th century, Art Nouveau inspired openwork floral handle with wide ivory blade. Appears to have French hallmarks. Item chemical tested positive for silver, presumed to be sterling. Measures 12-1/2″ long. Please note: The item is carved from antique, pre-ban African elephant ivory.
