Description
An unusual group including a letter, to “Wild Bill” (William J. McGill), signed “Stay Strong – Gone Easy Charles Milles Manson” with the signature and a swastika. The letter includes the line “I don’t have paper + stuff to wright so this will do -” and the back is printed with a chain letter titled “With Love All Things Are Possible”, and the bottom says “St. Jude.” Also included is a business card for a public defender with Manson adding the note “Do you know this guy”, a note from Manson to Wild Bill also signed twice, both with a swastika, and the verso with his middle name, and a ten of diamonds playing card. The last piece is a photo of a cabin, almost certainly the main residence on Barker Ranch, where he hid in the bathroom cabinet hoping to avoid arrest. The front is signed in the center. Above the cabin he has written “My Old Hideout”. On the right of the hill he has drawn a caricature of himself peeking over the hill, bald head, eyes, and swastika on forehead. The back reads “chineese elm a new tree for a old outlaw shack”. Photo 4 x 6″, letter 8-1/2 x 11″. This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.
Condition
All in typical condition with the expected flaws. Letter with folds and smeared ink, photograph has marks from staples and wear to the verso. See images.
