Approx. .42 bore. Octagon barrel measures 38″, 53-1/2″ overall. Half-stock configuration with wood ramrod. Brass furniture including patch box, trigger guard and buttplate. Barrel and lockplate markings are unreadable. Civilian mid-19th century American percussion rifle with typical sporting architecture. See images for more details on condition. Condition
Barrel has an uniform brown patina with areas of oxidation. Bore has oxidation. Ramrod present. Age appropriate wear to the stock with a crack to the right side under barrel, action works, see images.
