Cast iron and steel taxi stand sign marked PGH D.P.S. at the top for Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, with embossed text reading No Parking Green Cab Stand. Octagonal sign face mounted on a green post with heavy round weighted base stamped Standard Sign Mfg Co, Pittsburgh PA. Issued for city cab stands during the 1930s-1940s.
