Signed and dated quilt. Sunburst or Starburst central motif, accented with cookie cutter designs, pinwheel corners, two having the date of 1868 and all with initials within each section, and a half square triangle edge, edges bound with blue silk, backed with polished cotton. Designs are composed of both solid and patterned silk, a post Civil War make-do approach with beautiful results. Overall approx. 90″ x 90″. This item can be shipped in-house.
