Antique Colt Model 1849 Pocket revolver in .31 caliber with 4 in octagon barrel. Barrel marked with one line address reading ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW YORK U S AMERICA. Six shot cylinder stamped Colts Patent, No 5139 and engraved with the stagecoach scene. Serial # 275139 (1865) present on barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger guard, and butt. Loading lever mounted beneath barrel. Manufactured circa 1865 to 1873. TAGS: antique handgun, percussion pistol, American firearm, cap and ball, collectible revolver, Hartford Colt.
