German Luger P08 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Mauser in 1940 for Wehrmacht use, bearing the “42” manufacturer code on the toggle. Chamber is dated “1940.” Features a 4″ barrel and standard 9mm Parabellum chambering. Serial number 8679 is matching on the frame, barrel, receiver, toggle links, extractor, and takedown lever components. Sideplate is mismatched and numbered 57. Waffenamt acceptance marks “655” and eagle proofs are visible on the right side of the receiver and barrel. One magazine included.
