Nambu production Type A (modified) 1906 (Papa Nambu) TGE (Tokyo Gas and Electric) Arsenal Japan, produced 1906-1923, 8mm Nambu caliber. Early serial #303, Type A anchor marking, barrel measures approx. 4-3/4″.The Papa has a tangent rear sight, a different cocking knob, checkered (not grooved) grips, a grip safety on the front of the grip frame, a swiveling (rather than fixed) lanyard loop.
