2nd Ed., Archibald Campbell, published 1819 and fully titled: “A Voyage Round the World, from 1806 to 1812; in Which Japan, Kamschatka, the Aleutian Islands and the Sandwich Islands were Visited. With and Account of the Present State of the Sandwich Islands, and a Vocabulary of Their Language”. New York: Broderick and Ritter, No. 20 James Street. An account of Campbell’s voyage from London through various ports throughout the Pacific Ocean, including the Sandwich Islands, predating the overthrow of the monarchy of Kamehameha. Calf leather bound with red label on spine. 4-3/8″ x 7-1/8″. This item can be shipped in-house.
Condition
Overall wear including shelf wear, bumped corners, insect damage to back cover, cracked spine, withdrawn stamp inside back cover. The original map has been torn out. See images for details.
