Nambu production Type A (modified) 1902 (Papa Nambu) first variation Naval contract with type “A ” or first style anchor. TGE (Tokyo Gas and Electric) Arsenal Japan, produced 1909-1923, 8mm Nambu caliber. Serial #782, barrel measures approx. 4-3/4″.The Papa has a tangent rear sight, a different cocking knob, checkered (not grooved) grips, a grip safety on the front of the grip frame, a swiveling (rather than fixed) lanyard loop. Stock slot has been filled. Aluminum base plate on magazine. One magazine included. TAGS: 1902, Papa, Baby, Type14, Type-14, WWII, WW2, WWI, WW1, era Excellent condition with light wear to the finish. Bore is clean and shiny.
