Blade measures approx. 35″, with an overall length of 41″ and a blade width of approx. 1-1/16″. Ricasso is stamped “U.S. 1864 A.G.M.” on one side and “C. Roby W. Chelmsford Mass” on the other. The grip is leather-wrapped with braided brass wirard is of brass with a three-branch design. Includes a metal scabbard with two suspension rings. TAGS: Civil War mounted weapon, historic blade, 19th century sword, U.S. cavalry, American antique sword. Age appropriate wear, with some oxidation onblade and scabbard.
