Description
Imperial Austro-Hungarian officer’s dress sword, overall length 39-1/4″ with a 34″ curved blade. Gilt-etched blade features military motifs including flags and a cannon, along with decorative cartouches. Blade is marked “K.K. Hof Schwertfeger Wien(Imperial & Royal Court Swordsmith, Vienna). Guard is engraved with a crowned script “S”, possibly denoting surname, regiment, or branch affiliation. Gilded hilt with wire-wrapped grip, includes nickel-plated scabbard with twin suspension rings. Ahigh-grade presentation or ceremonial sword from the late Habsburg monarchy.
