Original U.S. M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine manufactured by Inland Division of General Motors, serial number 4893700. Barrel is marked “INLAND MFG DIV GENERAL MOTORS 1-44,” confirming January 1944 production during WWII. Features a folding wire stock (post-war replacement) and wood pistol grip marked with a circled “P” and “SA,” indicating Springfield Armory inspection. Type 3 barrel band is marked “K1″ (Kilian Mfg. Co.), confirming WWII manufacture. Adjustable rear sight and lever safety areory upgrades. Barrel approx. 18″, overall length 35-1/2” extended. One magazine included.
