Description
Original German WWII M35 stahlhelm combat helmet with black overpaint and interior liner. This example is stamped “EF68” on the skirt, indicating manufacture by Emaillierwerke Fulda in size 68, with lot number “3541” stamped at the rear. It retaiits wartime M31 leather liner, affixed by three rivets and backed with an aluminum inner band. The shell edge is rolled, distinguishing this as the early-war M35 model rather than the later M40 or M42 variants. The exterior finish is a black repaint, heavily worn with scattered abrasions and paint loss.
