Ink and watercolor on paper, a study for the painting in Lot 3, by Dietz Edzard (German, 1893-1963). Hinge-mounted. Measures 12-1/2" x 15-3/4" (folder 15-3/4" x 19-5/8"). Initialed D.E. and dated 19. Provenance: Obtained from the artist’s grandson by his first wife, Emmy Bayer (who was the granddaughter of Friedrich Bayer, founder of the Bayer Co.). Unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic. This item can be shipped in-house.
Condition: Excellent condition.
