Description
Flight Awareness Medallion commemorating the Apollo 11 mission from the collection of a NASA/Boeing employee. Well-struck on both sides. One side reads "The Eagle Has Landed, July 20, 1969," and the other side, "This medallion contains metal from spacecrafts Columbia and Eagle, that took Astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins on their historic Apollo 11 mission that resulted in the first landing of man on the Moon." Medallion measures about 32mm. Accompanied by 1971 certificate presented with the medallion to the employee who worked on the Apollo 11 project. This item can be shipped in-house.
